Received: 05-10-10 Accepted: 25-11-10 Abstract Although subepithelial lesions are rarely found in the upper gastrointestinal tract, they can cause uncertainty in diagnostic approach and management. Endosonographic findings are described and current recommendations are reviewed in light of one case in order to allow for a rational approach to these lesions.
